Another May wedding I shot was Tiffany and Chad’s. Their reception, at the Ruth Lake Country Club in Hinsdale, really allowed me to use setting in a completely different way than I usually do in downtown Chicago. It was a new, fun experience for me as a Chicago wedding photographer.
One of the best parts of photographing this wedding was shooting the details of the bride’s dress and jewelry. With her ornate gown and train, full veil and jewelry, I had so many beautiful details to document and work into her photos.
Some of my favorite pictures from the day came in our outdoor shots. It was a gorgeous day, that perfectly framed Tiffany and Chad for some wedding day portraits. Using her long lace train and the country club scenery, we captured the beautiful day of the service as well as the couple on their happy day.
I also loved the couple’s original color scheme–the green and brown was personal touch that made their reception stand out to me, among the many I’ve seen! Plus, it really set off the pink flowers provided by Wildflowers. We also enjoyed a band and DJ–The Ralph Wilder Orchestra and Prism Entertainment Group.
